WHAT IS NEXT STEPS?
Next Steps Perinatal Recovery Home is BCAPOP’s newest initiative; it is a small, welcoming, 24/7 staffed supportive recovery residence in Kamloops for pregnant and newly parenting women entering recovery from substance use, where mothers and babies can remain together whenever safely possible. With a home now secured and preparations well underway, we are working toward welcoming our first mothers and babies on May 29, 2027. We are actively seeking community partners, funding opportunities, financial contributions, and donations to help bring Next Steps to life. Together, we can create a place where mothers and babies are supported, families are strengthened, and recovery has room to grow. Interested in supporting Next Steps?
