BCAPOP is the unified voice and vital network for pregnancy outreach programs, perinatal professionals and peers across BC. We are 70+ Program Members strong representing over 120 communities across BC and more than 550 perinatal professionals and helping peers. As a member of BCAPOP, you will have access to the resources, opportunities and the support required to become part of a growing network of programs, perinatal professionals and helping peers committed to providing evidence-based and trauma-informed best-practice care to perinatal people and their infants.

PROGRAM MEMBER [full voting]
$389.63 per year - for up to 10 bundle members 

$701.33 per year - for up to 25 bundle members 

Program Membership (full voting) is open to any program in BC recognized by BCAPOP as a pregnancy outreach program. As per BCAPOP bylaws, a “Pregnancy Outreach Program (“POP”)” is defined as any program that provides support to perinatal people free of charge.  For the purposes of BCAPOP Program Membership examples of "pregnancy outreach programs" include, but are not limited to:  CPNP Programs, prenatal nutrition programs,  pregnancy outreach programs, neighbourhood houses, family resource programs, prenatal programs, perinatal programs, early parenting programs, public health perinatal programs, prenatal clinics.


The membership year for Program Members is from April 1st to March 31st.  New Program Member applications are accepted year-round; however, BCAPOP does not prorate membership fees.  

Program Membership Benefits include:

  • BCAPOP voting rights (1 vote per membership)
  • Eligible to apply for the BCAPOP Nutrition Program (annual distribution of prenatal vitamins based on prenatal intakes)
  • Membership includes one pregnancy outreach program and up to either: 
    • 10 bundle members (number of individuals from within that same pregnancy outreach program included under one Program Membership); OR 
    • 25 bundle members (number of individuals from within that same pregnancy outreach program included under one Program Membership)
  • Reduced registration fee to BCAPOP fee-based training & events for all of the  bundle members included under the membership
  • Inclusion in BCAPOP's Online Directory of Pregnancy Outreach Programs and The Pregnancy HUB's HUB Directory to help pregnant, postpartum and newly parenting people access your program
  • Free member-only networking, education and mentorship opportunities to share skills, expertise, information and resources through our BCAPOP Perinatal Community of Practice (5 sessions per year) 
  • Support for programs on important issues (we represent member programs to governments and partners)
  • Access to the BCAPOP Members-Only Portal, which includes our member directory of over 550 perinatal professionals & peers, the Endless Savings & More (ESM) app, and external opportunity listings for events, research & funding 
  • Access to "Proud Member of BCAPOP" logo for use on your website and promotional materials

    ASSOCIATE MEMBER - INDIVIDUAL [non-voting] 
    $77.93 per year

    Associate Membership - Individual is open to any individual who supports the purpose of the Society. Associate Members are not voting members.
    *For new Associate Memberships joining after February 9, 2022,  the membership year is based on your join date; and your Associate Membership will expire annually on your join date. 

    Associate Membership - Individual Benefits include:

    • Reduced registration fee to BCAPOP fee-based training & events for the individual included under the membership
    • Free member-only networking, education and mentorship opportunities to share skills, expertise, information and resources through our BCAPOP Perinatal Community of Practice (5 sessions per year) 
    • Access to the BCAPOP Members-Only Portal, which includes our member directory of over 550 perinatal professionals & peers, the Endless Savings & More (ESM) app, and external opportunity listings for events, research & funding

    $259.75 per year - for up to 10 bundle members | $519.50 per year - for up to 25 bundle members 

    Associate Membership - Group is open to any group who supports the purpose of the Society. Associate Members are not voting members.

    $25.98 per year

    Associate Membership - Student (Individual)  is open to any individual student who supports the     purpose of the Society, and who is NOT employed by a BCAPOP Program Member.  Associate Members are not voting members.
    Effective February 2022, the membership year for Associate Memberships is based on your join date; and Associate Memberships will expire annually on your join date. 

    Important: Associate Member - Student (Individual) memberships are open to people who are NOT employed by a BCAPOP Program Member and who meet both of the following requirements: 

    1. You are currently enrolled in a certificate, diploma or bachelor's or graduate degree program at a recognized college or university; and
    2. You use your active student email address from your school.

    If you have recently graduated and you are interested in supporting the work of BCAPOP and accessing our membership benefits, please sign up as either a Program or Associate Member.
