Description
BCAPOP is seeking to expand their program offerings that address gaps in the services available to perinatal people in British Columbia (BC), as part of their strategic plan. BCAPOP has identified that bed-based programs for perinatal people with substance use challenges are in demand in the province, and that the organization could be positioned to operate one in Kamloops, BC. This feasibility report provides an analysis of BCAPOP entering into bed-based program delivery, focusing on the capacity requirements and the initial start-up costs for owning and/or operating a facility. BCAPOP is happy to share this resource in order to support other organizations to also create bed-based programming for perinatal people who use or have used substances.
